Day 1 VENICE
Upon arrival at the Venice International Airport you will be transferred, by private boat, to your centrally located hotel in the heart of Venice. To help experiencing the intimacy of this special town, in the afternoon a private gondola ride through the Venice Canals while enjoying a typical Venetian aperitif: Prosecco and Cicchetti (Venetian finger food).
Day 2 VENICE
In the morning, meet with your private guide tour to visit the highlights of Venice; San Mark’s square, San Mark’s Basilica, Bridge of Sighs.The tour might be optionally extended to visit the gorgeous rooms of the of Doge’s Palace. In the afternoon, we encourage you to visit to the island of Murano, easily done on your own, with its many glassblowing factories and museums.
Day 3 FLORENCE
Transfer from Venice to Florence on first class by bullet train. In the afternoon, optional small group tour to visit the largest collection of Renaissance Paintings at the Uffizi Gallery.
Day 4 FLORENCE
In the morning, a sightseeing walk with a local guide to visit the highlights of Florence ; The Duomo by Brunelleschi, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St. John or the Piazza della Signoria with its surrounding Renaissance buildings; the Loggia dei Lanzi, Palazzo Uguccione and Tribunale della Mercanzia, and the Ponte Vecchio (the Old Bridge). Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 5 TUSCANY COUNTRYSIDE
Today, you will experience one of the most popular activities in Tuscan country side, by either joining a small group cooking class in a typical Tuscan Villa or a small group wine tour in Chianti wine region.
Day 6 LUCCA
Visiting Tuscany, should always include one of its unique medieval towns. Today, you will visit Lucca, an Ancient Roman settlement, which flourished during medieval age. Surrounded by massif medieval walls is, along with Siena, the most attractive town located in the countryside.
Day 7 ROME
Transfer from Florence to Rome by bullet train. Late afternoon, small group walking tour to savor several tasting of the most popular regional finger food, while exploring a typical Roman downtown quarter.
Day 8 ROME
Today, join a 3-mile walking tour to get familiar with Rome downtown while visiting the most popular Piazzas of Rome: Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo and the Pantheon.
Day 9 ROMA
Today, you will join a small group tour to visit Imperial Rome, including skip-the-line access to Coliseum (and Arena Floor), Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Balance of the day at leisure.
Day 10 ROME
Today, join a an early morning walking tour, to visit, during the less crowded hours, the Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel, and Saint Peter Basilica with the Pieta’ by Michelangelo.
Day 11 ROME
Private transfer to airport and departure.
